Disciplinary meetings take place after an allegation of misconduct has been made against an employee. Disciplinary meetings can also be called to discuss the employee's capability, unreasonable absence from work or any other matter affecting the employee's work.

During the meeting, the employee will meet with the employer and will be able to set out their case. The employee can present evidence, call witnesses and respond to the allegations.
